The idea for Doudou wau was born from an apparel director's everyday life with her dog.
After the birth of her child, the shape of her family changed. Days began where her child and dog shared the same moments, growing together side by side. Whether it was a casual walk or a special celebration, each moment was irreplaceable — the kind you can never go back to.
Matching outfits for parents and children, siblings, and couples have long been popular. But when it comes to matching for children and dogs — as members of the same family — the options barely exist. Coordinated designs with the same fabrics and aesthetic? Nearly impossible to find.
So we decided to make them ourselves.

Our baby and kids items are carefully sewn one by one in Japanese factories. Because these pieces touch a baby's delicate skin, we prioritize comfort for daily wear and safety in every detail. Our dog items are planned and designed in Japan, with fabrics, specifications, and quality standards set by our Japanese team, then produced at factories specializing in dog apparel.
